The Quality of Mercy by Anne Schraff
When I went to the library, I was very confusing which book I had to choose. But the cover of “The Quality of Mercy” grip my attention, I got curious to read it base on my love for author Anne Schraff. Also it was my reading level. I told myself I will like it, because all Anne’s books are very fantastic. At first, I didn’t like everything. However, as I read it, I started to become interesting to continue reading it. I was curious what’s going to happen at the end. The book is great, because the main character was in love with a boy since preschool (This was the part the made me curious what’s going to happen at the end). I would recommend to high school student and adult to read this book, butI wouldn’t recommend it to the people who do not enjoy Anne’s books. …show more content…

In the story she keeps changing and improving. Alonee is different from the other character which made her stand out even more. She is an intelligent and beautiful girl; she loves Jaris Spain since preschool. But she knows Jaris loves another girl, her name is Sereeta Prince. Since that Alonee, promise herself the forget Jaris, also she doesn’t let anyone to get to her heart. But when Oliver Randell comes to the school, Alonee starts to become close to him, and she helps him in solving his problem with his teacher. But is she’s going to love him like Jaris
The other characters that play the main roles in the Quality of Mercy are likeable. They are different from one another, and each one has his/her own problem. There is Mr. Buckingham, the science teacher, very strict teacher. Mr. Buckingham has problems with one of his student. When his car and his house get burn, and Mr. Buckingham accuse one of his students for everything. But who really did it, is it one of his student, or someone
