“The Raven and Incident in a Rose Garden Compare and Contrast” There are many similarities and differences in the poems Incident in a Rose Garden and The Raven. For example, the two poems both have strong use of character development. The poems use death affecting the narrators in order to show grief, in The Raven, and irony, in Incident in a Rose Garden. Similarly, the two poems show death affecting the main character in a major way.
