Integrity can be defined as being honest and having strong morals. Being able to balance one’s own integrity and professional responsibility is what determines how successful they will be. If someone’s personal integrity and professional responsibility aren’t balanced, they will interfere with or hinder the other. Ultimately, a person is successful if they can balance their personal integrity and professional responsibility.
The fact that Macbeth believes the witches’ prophecies are not evil nor good foreshadows how he will go on to kill any other person standing in his way to more power. His ambition blinds his mind to make him even think about ruthlessly committing a murder. This forceful way of gaining power will only lead Macbeth to become a “tyrant” in Scotland and his “fantastical” desires of killing Duncan and receiving the crown will lead Scotland to failure. Under Macbeth’s rule, Scotland seems to be in a terrible condition. With distrust among the people, there is tension all within the country, as Macbeth’s totalitarian regime had rendered the prosperity of Scotland.
Who is responsible for Macbeth’s downfall, the witches, or Macbeth? Who is responsible for the scorpions in Macbeth’s mind, the savage killing of several people in cold blood, the conception near the end of the play that Macbeth grasps of nihilism, and Macbeth getting so shielded in the prophecies that he can barely see straight? Is it Macbeth... or the witches? The play by William Shakespeare, Macbeth, has many motifs and famous quotes. However, it raises a lot of questions.
Macbeth, written by William Shakespeare, is a play that mainly focuses on one common theme of insanity. Macbeth gradually becomes plagued by intense guilt as his desire for power drives him to attain his goals by any means necessary, including committing murder. He kills Duncan in cold blood in order to become King, has Banquo killed by three murderers because he wishes to maintain his position as King, and finally, he has Macduff’s family slaughtered. Each of these occurrences takes place because of Macbeth’s will to be King, or they are a result of his guilt. Nonetheless, they are all completed of his free will, which is what causes him to deteriorate mentally.
I, lord Macbeth, have realized that problems that are occurring in our country, Scotland. These problems can be solved with help from everyone. The country is facing problems such as, famine, killings, and a rebellion. Now this famine can be solved if we all work together and continue to grow the crops like we use to when Duncan was in charge then we would be able to bring ourselves back together as a country.
I, Malcolm, finally have become King of Scotland, which is my birthright. Silly Macbeth was finally killed in battle by Macduff. Macbeth's reign as King of Scotland was filled with revenge and murder. Macbeth believed the prophecies of witches that he would continue as King of Scotland, and this belief led to his death. It is now my responsibility to make Scotland the hopeful and peaceful and it was under the rule of my father King Duncan.
