Ray Bradbury is the author of Fahrenheit 451. His life experiences affect his work in many ways. He also had very many life experiences such as when he started reading he was only 3 years old and he started watching movies at 6. He also visited his first library when he was twelve years old .These experiences affected his work of writing fahrenheit 451 because he heard about hitler burning books and Russia burning books. When he head about hitler burning the books he wrote a small 2500 word novel called the fireman.
He teaches Dantes about God, economics, reading, writing, math, and science. These lessons are hard for Dantes to learn and understand, posing a great challenge, but he perseveres and is eventually successful.

Bradbury excellently uses multiple stylistic devices to manipulate the reader into feeling and thinking various things. To begin with, due to the descriptive nature of the words Bradbury uses to make the story come to life, there are a plethora of mental images that develop throughout the novel. From the very first page all the way to the very last, the numerous stylistic devices and descriptive words work hand in hand to create very detailed mental images in the reader’s mind.
Bradbury took many years to develop Fahrenheit 451. What began as a short story called “Bright Phoenix” which described a small town that tried to end the government book burning in the town by memorizing all of the banned books was further developed and was expanded into a longer story, “The Fireman.” After “The Fireman” appeared in Galaxy Science Fiction, a fire chief told Bradbury that book paper ignites on fire at 451 degrees Fahrenheit. Bradbury again further developed “The Fireman,” and soon it became known as Fahrenheit 451, one of his most prominent works. Fahrenheit 451 was a novel based in a future totalitarian state, possibly attacking McCarthyism which was at the height of its power when the book was published (Heller).

Dantes shows his compassion in the beginning of the novel by worrying more about the captain who had died on the journey than trying to be paid by Monsieur Morrel right away. This trait affects the plot because Dantes compassion towards Faria, whom everyone thought was mad, has helped Dantes become smarter and learned about a potential treasure. However, through Faria’s knowledge, Dantes has learned about who betrayed him and now swears vengeance upon those people instead of compassion. Intelligence is another very prominent trait shown by Dantes. Dantes first shows his intelligence by being promoted to the rank of ship captain at the young age of 19 and having earned the trust of Monsieur Morrel to know how to handle a ship.
Throughout this novel we see just how important books really are and the knowledge that can be obtained from reading them. In writing Fahrenheit 451 the author, Ray Bradbury, really knew how to relate the novel to the things going on in today 's day and time. Throughout the novel we read stories about how the firemen and other characters are trying to make everyone equal. In their attempt to do this they are burning every book they can find, and we can relate to this because even though our government now is not burning books they are doing everything they can to keep the working class equal to the nonworking class.
