Love is something everyone experiences for someone else. Although one may experience love for someone, that person may not have the same feelings for them. Love for one another is mutual feelings from both parties involved in the stories that we read there was some one party having feelings. With one having feeling and the other not having the same feelings, this leads to someone getting their feelings hurt. If it was a different way besides feelings getting hurt, one could harm themselves. Love is a feeling many will experience but will have different experiences with it. They also have birds in them and they symbolize different sins of humans. All the valleys that the birds will cross are teachings that humans go through for Sufis. With these teaching it’s a way a human to understand God better and the truth behind him. There are seven valleys that the birds cross which are the Valley of the Quest, Valley of Love, Valley of Knowledge, Valley Detachment, Valley of Unity, Valley of Wonderment, and Valley of Poverty and Annihilation. Each valley has their own teaching and meaning in them. The Valley of Quest is where there is many different difficulties and trails. The Valley of Love is very meaningful and has nothing to do without reason. The Valley of Knowledge teaches that knowledge is temporarily while understanding is more powerful to someone’s knowledge of something. You need to understand something before you have knowledge of it. The Valley of Detachment is a difficult valley to cross with that one must be roused from apathy to renounce inner and outer attachments so that one can become self-sufficient. The Valley of Unity is where you are separating the evil and good that will come up. The Valley of Depravation and Death is where you find out self does not
