Newton’s 3rd law states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. His law does not only deal with physics, but also in everyday life. Rumors are a very good example of how actions can turn into reactions. Incorrect information can lead people into making choices that will not only hurt themselves, but others around them. The choices a person makes does not only affect themselves, but many others. The decision that Romeo made to kill himself not only affected himself personally, but also his friends and family. Romeo and Juliet’s love for each other caused him to make this decision. Romeo stated that “My life were better ended by their hate than death proroguèd, wanting of thy love” (Shakespeare: Romeo And Juliet; II,ii,60). Someone who does not know the real reason Brother wanted to help teach Doodle learn to walk would admire Brother’s decision to help Doodle, but in reality it was for Brother’s own personal gain. After a day of intense training that left doodle exhausted, Doodles heart was beating faster and faster as he called for help, but Brother ignored Doodles cries of “brother, brother, don't leave me! Don't leave me” (Hurst: “The Scarlet Ibis”, 604). Brother’s quick decisions to force doodle to be “normal” caused Doodle to die and brought hardship to their family.
