The mission of the Catholic Church is to bring hope, peace and love to people around the world. The Catholic Church has a rich tradition of teaching (CST) in the areas of mission and justice. The key to social justice is to acknowledge and take action in supporting the rights of all people regardless of social status (Pachamama Alliance, n.d.). One of many non-profitable organisations, Youth Off the Streets follows in the mission of the Catholic Church by striving for social justice among the younger Australian community. Founded by Father Chris Riley in 1991, Youth Off the Streets continues to follow in the role of Jesus by supporting those who are disadvantaged, drug independent and/or recovering from abuse. Today, they have grown to become a major national agency offering support to the younger community, homeless and aboriginals who have experienced personal trauma from neglect, psychological, physical and/or emotional abuse. Their goal is achieving social justice within these various community groups, to leave their assistance fully educated, free of drugs, living skills and with either a part-time or full-time job. By doing so they provide safety, a growth support and open up pathways for them to endeavor. The different services include, counselling, crisis accommodation, residential programs, alcohol and drug services, and aboriginal programs (Youth Off the Streets,
