The Selfish Gene is about the genetic evolution written by Richard Dawkins, an English ethologist and an evolutionary biologist. This book is inspired by the idea of "Selfish Gene Theory" from Adaptation and Natural Selection, written by George C.William which is about the clarification of certain issues in adaptation and evolutionary processes, however it has nothing to do with Darwinism. In fact, this book explores the downfall of particular evolution theories.
