The Shooter was my choice of movie, by Mark Wahlberg made in 2007. The movie is about ex- marine sniper who decided he wanted to live in an isolated environment after being discharge from the marines. The opening scene was designed to lure the sniper, named Swagger back into the secret service agency to show them different methods on how the President of United States can be assassinated. The main objective that Colonel Johnson, who was a soldier in special operations and who was the bad guy trying to use the sniper Swagger as a fall guy in a secretive operation. In the opening scene it was without a doubt that Swagger was a military marksman’s highly skilled and of great honor and it was established from the beginning. This essay will analyze the first three scene of the movie The Shooter. The Theme, Sound, Character and Lighting, Editing. The Theme of the film right from the opening begins with a lot Action and explosions with extraordinary sound and special effects in the movie. The action part of the movie is highly pitched in sound and the nonviolence scene, is more of a calm situation which has a low pitch in sound. Mark Wahlberg’s has a great transition from the action scene to that of more violence and nonviolence scene in the movie, the sound effect throws out a more colorful scene in the movie. The lighting starts with a regular viewing and quickly changes when the action become more intense and changes to that of darkness scenery. There are other sounds that are used in this movies that come from other things such as armored military tank vehicles, and helicopters. Whenever someone is killed in the movie it goes to a more fast action sound to a very long and slow sounding effect. The Characters used in the movie is friendly and
