In To Kill a Mockingbird we learned why it’s a sin to kill a mockingbird. The idea that it is a sin to kill a mockingbird is still present in today's society. There is a person in my life that can be considered to be a mockingbird his name is Kevin. I can prevent Kevin from being “killed” by telling the truth and only the truth.

It is a sin to kill a mockingbird because they’re innocent and all they do is sing; mockingbirds do not cause destruction. It is shown that it’s a sin to kill a mockingbird in To Kill a Mockingbird when Atticus says it to the kids for the first time when they get their bb guns. Later on in the book Tom Robinson is symbolized as a mockingbird because he lost the trial and was killed even though he was innocent.
