Did you know, there is a lot of chemicals frenzied up in the air, water, and soil? The

United States causes about 30 percent of the worlds pollution. Your children cause about ten

percent of the world pollution, but can be affected by about 40 percent. If you really sit down to

think about pollution, you would know that your children and grandchildren could be affected,

and if they aren’t affected, then they will eventually be if we don’t take action. It takes hours and

hours of research to know this information, and you need to know how pollution affects you and

It is mostly caused by chemicals made from humans, which is usually caused by industrial activity, improper dispose of chemicals, and agricultural chemicals. It can cause acid rain. It effects us because when you breathe, you could be inhaling vaporized soil contamination or direct contact with soil. Your children can have a chance of getting diseases when they play with soil. Lead and mercury can occur in soil, and can damage you or your kids organs, liver, or kidneys. Soil pollution can even cause cancer. It can affect your economy too because if you grow crops in certain areas where it is polluted and people then eat it, then it can be very harmful. It can affect plant growth, and allow it to not grow properly. Ways you can help prevent soil pollution is to, reuse and recycle stuff like, paper, cardboard, plastic, and cans. Put a ban on deforestation. You could have your community take soil pollution awareness programs. You could also let plants go back to their organic state and stop using stuff, such as, fertilizer and
