In Flint, a majority of people are suffering from various controversies because of government neglectful management to citizens who are poor or black and it lead more serious problems. They are having trouble with water crisis with polluted water, political problem of government, and environmental racism to black people. These issues must be resolved by new policy and government helps to prevent another serious problem to citizens in Flint.
The water crisis is highly serious problem in the world and it can affect a lot of health problems for everyone. The significant point is that even though The United States is well-being country, there are some cities who are suffering from polluted water; particularly, Flint since government does not care them. For instance, “In November, Wakes had Tyson’s blood-lead level tested: it registered at a concentration of 5 micrograms per deciliter of blood, a level deemed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to be “much higher than most children’s lead levels”, it means that polluted water can affect children with high lead level. For instance, EPA has been reviewing lead and copper rule since 2010, they have not made any changes the laws despite Flint has suffered from the crisis. The problem is that it will not change until 2017 because the level of polluted water was diminished when they test the water in Flint (Glenza, Milman). Aside from that, when the government changed the water sources in Flint, there were a lot of complaints because there are still polluted sources in new water.
