The brother is to blame for doodles death. Doodle was a disabled young child with a selfish brother that only looks out for himself. His brother was ashamed to be with or around him. One of the biggest reasons wanted him dead is because he was embarrassed to be around him. The three reasons I believe that the brother wanted to kill doodle was he was embarrassed, he pushed him to hard, and he was selfish.
Some of the characters, like Dodge, Alyss, and Hatter, show perseverance in trying to defeat Redd. Dodge perseveres through the mental pain of The Cat killing his father and the physical pain of The Cat 's scratches. Hatter shows perseverance when he helps Alyss escape the palace safely and risks his life trying to find her. The first character is Lena, who is a mother of the Walter. Lena is very faithful and honest person although she is poor. She always wants a new house and garden.

After Inigo’s father is killed by the deranged Count Rugen, Inigo swears that he will avenge his father by killing Count Rugen (Goldman 139). Inigo also shows heroism when Westly is killed in the zoo of death; Inigo takes Westly to Miracle Max where he is brought back to life. Inigo Montoya’s story of becoming a hero did not begin when he met Fezzik and Vizzini; or when Inigo saved Westly from the zoo of death.
One reason why Darry is a hero is that he supports his family in every way possible. After Darry graduated high school, his parents died in a car crash, and he had to get a job as a roofer and forget about his dream of going to college. Darry supports Ponyboy, his little brother by making sure he is always on top of his homework, and maintains good grades in school. The second reason that Darry is a hero is simply because he keeps watch over his family and makes sure that they don’t get split up. Darry is like the mother of the family, because he didn’t want Ponyboy to go to the rumble and get hurt.
In the book Renegades by Marissa Meyer, many things happen throughout the book that many will find interesting. This story follows two main characters, Adrian Everhart and Nova Artino/Mclain. In this world, there are these people who are prodigies with superpowers that they either inherit or are born with. There is also a Council that is made of the best superheroes or Renegades, all around the city that this book takes place in and the son of the top two Council members is Adrian Everhart with their leadership skills and the ability to make whatever he draws come to life. There are also villains in this world of heroes called the Anarchists and within these villains is the niece of the formerly ruler of Gatlon City during the Age of Anarchy.
First of all, The Princess Bride is a movie about love, vengeance, and companionship. The story focuses on a farm girl, Buttercup, who has been chosen as the prince's bride to Prince Humperdinck. However, Buttercup does not love him, as she mourns the death of her one true love, Westley. She is later on kidnapped by a band of bandits: Vizzini, Fezzik, and Montoya. However, they are chased by Dread Pirate Roberts himself, aka Westley and attempts to rescue Buttercup.

Lastly, Tiny Soderball was a hired immigrant just alike Lena. Tiny was always getting in trouble with the men so all of the other citizens looked at her differently. Tiny did not settle with that and she then decided to travel to Alaska and take part in the Gold Rush. Tiny opened up her own hotel and grew a fortune. Lena, Ántonia, and Tiny go against the traditional female role, they maintain their independence and they take risks causing them to end up very successful.
Lily was a young white girl living in a household of coloured women who did various things that she did not understand. At first Lily didn’t think that she fit in mainly because she didn’t look like the others. But after living in the pink house for a time she was able to get to know those whom she lived with. August was also so kind to everyone and everything. She took pride in what she did, but she shared it with everyone, she was trustworthy and a great friend who Lily began to love very much.
Desire can be defined as a strong feeling of wanting or wishing for something. The something could be an object, idea, or an event. In A Streetcar Named Desire, Blanche Dubois believes that the opposite of death is desire. Logically speaking, the real opposite of death is life; so why does Blanche believe that it’s desire? Possibly because she relates desire to life it’s self.
Flagg’s character Evelyn Couch is seen as a believable character, because the reader gets a bit of background on who she is and why she goes to the nursing home. In the novel, Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe, Evelyn is described as a “forty-eight year old . . . [who] had gotten lost somewhere along the way” (37). After her children left to college Evelyn felt as if she did not know what to do with her life anymore, because before it revolved around her family and taking care of each one of them. In the late 1980’s women began to have more job opportunities; however, in Evelyn’s case she was already too old to go out and work for a company without having went to college.
