Crystal Moselle is a New York based film and commercial director. The Wolf Pack (2015) is Moselle’s debut film as a documentary director and it got her the Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary at the 2015 edition of Sundance Festival. Planned and shot over the span of five years with some of her own money invested in the production, The Wolfpack craftily tells the story of the six Angulo brothers (age between 16 and 23). Along with their older sister, they were raised in captivity, like a pack of wolves in the New York’s zoo. Their deluded parents kept the only key to the apartment, restricting their children’s connection to the outside world to the minimum – sometimes only once a year. A truly disturbing fabula, indeed.
