People all over the world should always think before they act. In the story “the fight” by “Adam Bagdasarian” the character Adam gets into a fight with his former friend mike ditcher because he said something without thinking. Throughout the story, we see this theme of thinking before you act play out as Adam gets into a lot of trouble because he is impulsive.

One thing Adam’s actions result in is karma. That is why he should really think before he acts. Adam doesnt think when he says “I know I can take him.”Another way adam shows that he is impulsive is he challenged mike to a fight even though he doesn't have a reason he dislikes mike. Also other people thinks adam is tough but on the inside he knows he is frightened. Adam is now realizing he might be going to far. Adam is walking home with kevin one day and they start talking “ he’s really strong.”says kevin kevin (adam’s friend) “i’m really strong.” adam counters back. Maybe only when adam is around his friends or talking to them does he try to be better that who he really is.Adam is not really being who he is.and lastly adam is scared on the inside but tries to tell himself he is better than mike. “Maybe one I was standing face to face with mike ditcher I would discover that I had inherited my dads blind rage and lionheart as we'll.” adam is now discovering he really has made a mistake and just relies on his imagination. Adam is thought of as tough and not who he really is. He is not thinking about how much mike grew and thinks he is better than he really is. To sum that up his impulsive actions got him into deep trouble once
