In addition to this rule, if you’re listening to music, or loud rap music in particular, remember to turn it off; keeping your music playing while an officer is trying to speak with you is just immature and ignorant. Something else to remember while driving is choose carefully who you give a ride to. Before you consent to giving your friend a ride, don’t forget to pat them down and check for any guns, knives, and/or drugs and make sure they don’t have any warrants out for their arrest. If you do get pulled over by the police, remind your friend to shut the hell up. If your friend tends to run their mouth then you might end up kissing the pavement.
