Even the most prolific inventor, with 2,332 inventions world wide and just over 1000 patents, has ran into hard faced failure. With these failures, however, he ended up creating even more inventions, leading him to great success and the mark he left in modern history. The mistakes that he ran into taught him how to invent his great inventions, which caused him to create a few of the most important inventions in our world today. This man is undoubtedly Thomas Edison, commonly known as the inventor of the incandescent light bulb. At the time, electricity was just found, steam engine was rising in popularity, and the world was dark without the sun.
