Shot 1: Cut to a straight on, medium long shot of the execution squad, Hardy and Bredow sitting in a car. The camera appears to be placed on the dashboard, so that the front left of the frame contains the steering wheel and the car’s interior makes up the rest of the frame. It is evident that this is Dr. Kramm’s car from the side view we are given of Dr. Kramm himself, along with the license plate on the left side of the frame. We hear car horns in the background and see pedestrians walking by on the sidewalk at the top of the frame on the sidewalk on the right side of Dr. Kramm’s
