Shot 1: Cut to a straight on, medium long shot of the execution squad, Hardy and Bredow sitting in a car. The camera appears to be placed on the dashboard, so that the front left of the frame contains the steering wheel and the car’s interior makes up the rest of the frame. Bredow sits on the left side of the frame behind the wheel, while Hardy is on the right side in the back seat of the car. It is evident that the car is moving from the sections of light and shadow that move across the characters faces and are casted on the walls of the interior. We hear the loud, mechanical sound of the car engine, over which Hardy says “Faster” as he commands Bredow to speed up his pursuit of the other car. Shot 2: It cuts to a straight on, medium long shot of Dr. Kramm sitting in the driver’s seat of his car, on the right side of the frame. The camera is positioned right out front of the car, so that we can see the headlights and grill of the car in the bottom 60% of the frame, and the rest contains the windshield and Dr. Kramm. Dr. Kramm’s car sounds like a spinning propeller. Aside from the moving wheel and shadows indicating the car is moving, this assumption is confirmed when Dr. Kramm reaches down with his left hand, and we hear the loud sound of the car break along with the sound of several car horns nearby. Kramm’s car. The camera is positioned behind the car and on the left side so that on the right side of the frame we can see the back right corner of the car next to Kramm’s, and the rest of the frame contains the majority of the left and backside of Dr. Kramm’s car. It is evident that this is Dr. Kramm’s car from the side view we are given of Dr. Kramm himself, along with the license plate on the left side of the frame. We hear car horns in the background and see pedestrians walking by on the sidewalk at the top of the frame on the sidewalk on the right side of Dr. Kramm’s
