Every country is different from one another and each country has its own special characteristics that attract people towards it. I was born in Syria and raised in Dubai. Both countries have similarities but both countries differ in many ways and each country has its own visitors with different purposes. Three differences that I have noticed between those two countries are neighborhood, security and popularity. The first difference that I have noticed between the two countries is the neighborhoods. In Syria, most of the people are from the same nationality and they all understand each other with respect to their culture. Whereas in Dubai, things are different because there are many different nationalities with different perspective following different cultures. As I have mentioned earlier that due to the safety in Dubai, tourists keep on coming to enjoy their vacation under the satisfying services provided by the country. In Syria it is different as there is not enough effort applied by the government to satisfy all its people which makes the number of tourists fewer than Dubai. Tourists also come to Dubai because it has the best locations for tourism. One of the famous buildings that tourists come to visit is Burj Khalifa, as it is the tallest building in the world, and Burj-Al-Arab. Syria doesn't have some of those unique and special places like Dubai and that is the reason Syria has less percentage of tourists being compared to Dubai. Both Syria and Dubai have different geographic locations, Dubai is close to the Gulf which means that the weather is usually hot there for the people who prefer warm weather.
