“Hawk, hurry your butt up! Mom’s making strawberry desserts! And I want to help before you eat all the berries.” Thunder yelled. She was a young girl of the age of eight, with midnight black hair and blood red eyes. Hawk, her twin brother, was the same as Thunder, in many ways. The twins had black hair with red eyes, as part elf, part skinchanger, and part dragon. They got the part dragon because one of their great-great-great-great-grandfathers was a dragon.
Thunder lived on a farm with horses, cows, sheep, and strawberry, blackberry, and apple plants to sell.
Thunder was always different. She remembers when she tried to play with the other kids in the nearby village. She remembers how they made fun of her, and how she was different and …show more content…

I won’t forget,” yelled Thunder running out the door, with the list, of course.
Thunder walked through the village, weaving her way through the people. Last time she was here, she almost was mugged by some of the new kids. After she got everything on the list, she made her way to the village playground. Maybe she would find some friends this time.

“Thunder, I think he is lucky not to be dead.”
Thunder dropped the whimpering Mickul, who ran as fast as his legs could carry him, as her father came into sight.
“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have done that, right?”
“No, you shouldn’t have, but I am surprised you held yourself back that well.” Her father was a skinchanger and he provided most of the meat and protection for the village. Without him, The village wouldn’t have been standing as it was then.
“Do you have my sword, my little poison berry?” asked Brok.
“Da-ad! Really? Yeah. I said it was my new sword to try and scare him so I wouldn’t have to fight.” Thunder said playfully, handing her father the weapon.

That night at the table, Brok told Aria and Hawk what Thunder
