In comparing the two readings between Titu Cusi Yupanqui and Pedro Sancho, one will find many similarities and many differences that took place. There does seem to be factual accounts when comparing both sides of the story between Titu Cusi Yupanqui and Pedro Sancho. However, Titu Cusi Yupanqui goes into greater detail about the events that took place, whereas, Sancho is very short and gives very little details in regards to the events that happened. The accounts that Titu Cusi Yupanqui tell of seem to be more believable and factual than that of the Spaniard, Pedro Sancho. The Spaniards, such as Pedro Sancho, seemed to be very deceitful and untrustworthy, making their accounts of the events that happened very hard to believe. His father tells him to not trust the Spaniards and know how they treated him as well as how evil they can be. Several years later, Titu Cusi wants to make peace with the Spaniards. The king wants Titu Cusi to leave his land and go live in the land of the king and become a Christian and he will pay him an income. Titu Cusi has a lack of trust here and sends one of his brothers instead of him. Titu Cusi wants to convert to Christianity and become baptized by the hands of the prior due to what the king told him. His brother dies shortly after he was sent over to live among the spaniards and Titu Cusi thinks it has something to do with the Spaniards and possible mistreatment towards his brother. Later, he learns that his brother dies due to natural causes. Titu Cusi grew up in a time when fighting and hatred among the Spaniards and Incas was taking place. Therefore, he saw how the Spaniards were and how they could not be trusted, but yet in his older age he discovers that peace needs to be made for his family, people, and their
