"Cecilia, I would appreciate it if you could let me concentrate on my work," Bee scolds the demon perched at the end of her bed. In retaliation to their request, the pesky spirit chucks a crumpled up piece of paper at the scowling teen. The paper hits them between their eyes and Bee shoots a look of vexation at Cecilia.

"You act as though I'll stop just because you command me to," the demon laughs in a mocking tone. She continues to rip sheets of paper out of the notebook for the sake of throwing them. "I do not serve you, I only serve Lucifer below."

Cecilia was a nightmare at times like this. A sardonic, obnoxious nightmare with horns.

"Is that so?" Bee questions, trying to control her steadily growing irritation. "Who's making you stay here then? I'm sure Mister Mephistopheles has some job he wants you to take care of." Bee makes a face at the endearment, finding it strange to be labeled that by a so-called "evil spirit". Or anyone actually, other people had never been Bee's strong suit. Meaning, of course, that Bee never actually had many friends, which she had tried to encourage her to change, again and again.

What would she think of her child's only friend being a demon, whose favorite pastime was pestering the person who summoned it? On one hand, she may be open to the idea of Bee socializing with Satanic creatures of the demon variety; however, she might call an exorcist. It's not difficult for Bee to decide which outcome is more
