Jem messed up Mrs. Dubose’s camellia and he had to read to her for a long time. Also Jem’s attitude turned for the better and he has been a good kid for a while now. Aunt Alexandra has come out of nowhere while Uncle Jimmy stays back at the landing. Jem and Scout find Dill hiding somewhere. Tom Robinson is moved to Maycomb County Jail.

They started the trial on Tom Robinson. They found out that Mr. Tate was wrong about things that were wrong with the girl. Atticus calls up Mayella to the stands. 26-31 (AT LEAST FOUR SENTENCES): Atticus revealed that he knew what happened the night that Jem, Scout, and Dill went on the Radley property but had never let on like he did. There was to be a performance at the school that Scout would participate in. All was well until Jem and Scout were attacked coming home from the school. Bob Ewell was the attacker. He was killed and Jem was taken home by Boo Radley, whose real name was Arthur, and Scout was finally able to meet the man who she thought of as murderous.

Evil: “Tom Robinson shut his eyes tight. “He says you gosh dang whore, I’ll kill ya”(Lee 260). With this quote I think Harper Lee is saying no matter how nice someone is to everyone you truly never know what they really are like.
