Lou has been ordered to interrogate Mark Frisbee, a suspect in a murder case. He needs to attain a signed confession from the suspect in order to help the prosecution gain a conviction. Recovered from the crime scene was the suspect’s fingerprints and hair follicles. The police also have witness statements putting him at the crime scene around the time of death. It’s important to get a confession to receive some justice for the family of the deceased and to punish Mark for the crime he has committed. Without a confession the man could be set free and could be given a chance to take more lives. Persuasion is key to gaining a confession; using the four persuasive appeals is Lou’s best chance.
