The novel To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee, is told through the eyes of a young girl known as Scout. Scout’s life, during the Civil Rights time period, has been impacted through government, society, and family. These factors, and many more, influence and mold Scout to the character she becomes at the resolution of the novel.
