The only compliance we have is to the Will of God, mission and commission that Christ has put us under. We have been commissioned to go tell it”-Pastor Jimmy J. Wilson 1. What should our church be known for in this community? 2. What services do your church offer?
Bethel Baptist Church never encountered a challenge like this before. The church accepted an invitation to participate in a mission in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Making an appearance in a foreign environment terrified both adolescents and adults. Even with those uneasy feelings, the congregation quickly zeroed in on the goal at hand in spreading God’s love to this needy region. With events such as church cleanup, food ministry, and disaster relief, the church left with a greater appreciation of life, and how lucky many of the citizens in the United States truly are.

This historical church connects well to the motto “That the future may learn from the past” because we can learn that people should be able to worship as the please and also we can learn about the type of music that was used. Since everyone had to attend Bruton Parish Church in Colonial times, this can teach us that people should be able to worship whoever they want or no one at all, whether they are Christian, Catholic, Muslim, or any religion really. From Peter Pelham, the first organist, we can learn what type of music was used back then and then we could innovate it and make it even better. The Bruton Parish Church was very important in colonial times, is still valuable today, and helps us learn from the

It is also common for someone with ASPD to act rashly and put themselves or others in danger without feeling guilty. There is a large debate on whether people who suffer with ASPD are a victim of it because of how they were raised, or if genetics plays a role in the disease. With much research and scientific evidence, it can be proven that ASPD is caused by a genetic link.
Some ways that the medical assistant can demonstrate professionalism when supporting patients who might be uncomfortable with having their skin examined by asking for their permission before touching them. It is very important for the patient to be comfortable with the medical assistant enough so they can see what is going on. Before the Reformation, the Church was one of the most influential and controlling powers in Europe. However, the Reformation managed to distance the Church from the government which allowed new developments to be made. The government was distanced from the Church, as more secular rulers converted to Protestantism, decreasing the Church’s authority over government. The uneasy political situation in Europe at the time allowed for the Reformation to spread further over Europe. The rise of new secular ideas made civilians more aware of political situations as they could now read political texts and form their own ideas.
The views on Christianity throughout Rome changed immensely from the early years of the empire through the fourth century. For a while, Christians were looked at as a threat to many because of their belief in monotheism. Nero and his followers persecuted and punished the lower class and women who followed Christianity as well as use them as political scapegoats. As time went on, the tolerance for Christianity in Rome grew and Christianity gained acceptance. By the fourth century, Christianity was the official religion in Rome.
Before I discuss my experience at Grace Lutheran Church I feel it would be beneficial to explain my Church Background, so that you can better understand my outsider view of the Sunday morning worship Service I attended. I have been raised in the Baptist/Southern Baptist church my entire life. My parents are from South Carolina, which is also where I grew up, so our idea of Church has always been a small community with a very relaxed atmosphere. I stopped attending the Baptists church when I was 16. I chose to join Bent-tree Bible Fellowship, a non-denominational church.
With the school’s student body being so close to the school it causes a more diverse church setting. But with the school being so diverse it’s hard to know your students and their preferences because it’s so many different cultures to try to adapt
