On Sunny day of 1918, streets were filled with joy and laughter as parade was on its peak. Few parade teams passed audience and entertained them. soon, clicking sounds of hard boot heel echoed the city. As the noise got larger, number of battalions marched down the street. Group kids ran to see them close and one of them actually made through the crowds. His eyes sparkled just like a star on the soldier 's’ uniform as he watched their foot touched the ground, He reached his hand out and the tip of finger touched black pants of the soldier. Little boy was overwhelmed. That night, he told his parents how he touched soldier’s pants and announced to them that he will become one of those soldiers and serve his country. Today 's Jrotc has detailed goal to students. Military will provide equipment and instructor to highschool; the instructors will lead the students to seek the true color of themselves, building their own charactor, work on their ethic, citizenship, communications, leadership, life skills and other subjects preparing students for adult society. Title 10 of the U.S. Code declares that "the purpose of Junior Reserve Officers ' Training Corps is to instill in students in United States secondary educational institutions the value of citizenship, service to the United States, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment." Today, students prectice right ways to honor their country. such as how to salute the flag properly, in uniform and in civillion clothing. How to fold flags, how to destroy them honorable. How to seek the mantle of leadership and stand prepared to upgold the Constitution and the American way of life. Future of Jrotc. I really wish to say that I do not have super power to predict them. If I did, I wouldn 't be here and write an essay. I would actually write about future of world and live in luxurious castle. But I wish the future of Jrotc is same as now. Instructor and student, students and students. Interacting with each other in respectful jesture and voice. learning togather helping other as team. Learning the weigh of responcibillity.
