The two sisters are disgusted with their appearance and because of the encounter, one refuses to keep playing but eventually does when the other sister gently signal her to, and so the music begins again but this time the man joins in with his violin as soon as hears the piano. Overtime, the sisters starts to open up the curtains letting in the sunlight, and soon after, the sisters go outside to him. This is about acceptance because the man could of just walked away after what he saw but instead joined with them, encouraging them to open up.
