Have you ever felt guilty because of misfortune? In the effective novel ‘Tomorrow When The War Began’ written by an Australian writer John Marsden,which specified Ellie Linton to be a main characteristic of a remarkable voice,and the heart of the story ,which takes the readers through their eyes. The book explores a lot about Ellies' conscience, bravery, morality, versatility, adversity, relationship, fear and her jealousy. Ellie is that young girl woman who wants to defend her town and resist against a foreign power. The other one makes her feel guilty which was “when i thought of it badly like that :killed three people i was so filled with horror i felt that my life was permanently damaged”, This makes sense of Ellie’s true feelings and the fact that she was able to overcome that guilt was the main reason she helped to understand overcoming adversity. Ellie linton overcame her guilt through the help of her friends. but mainly just her decision to accept the fact that she possibly killed three people because she was the only one who knew what it was like to kill ,so she had to dig deep to be able to get on and keep her mental state from destroying herself and clouding her judgement . Ellie was the leader by now and her friends relied on her a lot so if she didn’t overcome her guilt she would’ve put the group in danger they could’ve died in any of the missions they were in. She records their plans and missions, fears longings for their families and lost, conflicts within the group, and romantic moment were noticed between her and
