Travelling to Vietnam
Vietnam is one of those countries that should be on everyone’s travel list. This beautiful country boasts with unique features that can only be found here and you’ll be amazed by what it has to offer.
Few countries have changed so much over such a short time as Vietnam. Vietnam is now a country that is on the move: it has never been easier to have access on the roads, and roads and hotels are being upgraded constantly.

You may find it hard to believe but when you walk past a fish stall, you wouldn’t smell a thing! That is because the fish, snails and prawns were most probably caught a just a few hours ago!
The Mekong Delta, where the Mekong River flows into the sea, is another must-see. This area is known as the ‘rice bowl’ and visitors usually go to Can Tho, the largest city in this area.
The Mammoth Caves, which are still in the process of being discovered in Vietnam, first opened to tourists in 2012. Since it is all still relatively new, trips to Son Doong are limited and you may have to pay a lot for it. The beaches of Vietnam have become beloved tourist spots due to their clear, blue water and white sandy beaches!!
Since the country has been occupied and divided by many countries for many years, Vietnam’s history is very complex. Everywhere you travel colonial influences can be seen, as well as the aftermath of the Vietnam War.
Lastly, Vietnam is famous for its PEOPLE. The Vietnamese have been described as generous, friendly, optimistic and thoughtful. When visiting the country, do yourself a favour and get to know these people.
