The three main Sociological Perspectives are Structural Functionalist, Social Conflict Theory, and Symbolic Interactionist, all of which are quite different but also similar in many ways. The study of sociology began when humans began to wonder about human social relationships and institutions during the nineteenth-century revolutions. As sociology has grown in popularity, many different sociologists have developed diverse perspectives on human social relationships and institutions. Structural functionalists study the existence of humans in society as part of sociology and many other social sciences such as relationships, institutions, and roles that make up a society. The main point of structural functionalists is that society works together to build structures and institutions such as education, family, economy, religion, and health care for them to evolve towards increased differentiation, where institutions become increasingly specialized in the functions they perform.
Culture is what everyone has and it makes everyone unique and different. Some start to educate themselves on their own culture based on what they see around them. Others learn from their parents like being taught a language then later in life they can speak it fluently. Learning early places them in a group of people with similar cultures or if their open-minded, a group with people of different cultures. In texts “Multiculturalism explained in one word: HAPA”, “What is cultural identity?”, and Two kinds, it shows how culture affects how one would view the world.
Culture is the “artificial, secondary environment” which man superimposes on the natural. It comprises language, habits, ideas, beliefs, customs, social organization, inherited artifacts, technical processes, and values. This “social heritage,” this “reality sui generis,” which the New Testament writers frequently had in mind when they spoke of “the world,” which is represented in many forms but to which Christians like other men are inevitably subject, is what we mean when we speak of culture. With these definitions in mind, how does a person understand and relate to culture?

To me, cultural has many different meaning, it can be agriculture, lifestyle, arts, education, economic, and so on. In the middle of the 19th century, some of new humanities such as anthropology, sociology and ethnology are rise in the western country, so the concept of culture was changed and has a modern significance. The term was first used in this way by the pioneer English Anthropologist Edward B. Tylor in his book, “Primitive Culture”, published in 1871. Tylor said that culture is "that complex whole which includes knowledge, belief, art, law, morals, custom, and any other capabilities and habits acquired by man as a member of society."
Anthropology studies humanity, from its beginnings millions of years ago to the present day. Anthropologists use Comparative Method to analyze data about cultures to learn and explain patterns of similarity and difference. Culture is a system of leaving which includes ideas, beliefs, practices, and places. Cultures are learned and dynamic. Every culture in the universal has their own beliefs and behaviors that assumed to be natural, normal, and the best.
Culture is the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively as defined by google search engine, however, culture can be interpreted as the cultivations of heritages and traditions passed down from generation to generation. Additionally, the impactions that culture can have upon one’s views of the world can be shown in many works and articles that we have read these past few weeks. Sociologist tries to show that race is not real and is made up, almost like it’s our imagination. That is social construction, they get you to think outside of the box and prove that we have made up perceptions. We perceive something as we see it, it’s how we grew up. An example of this would be skin color, which is race but, skin race is not always skin color. People that have darker skin normally come from warmer climates, leaving them with more pigment in their skin.

Sociology is the study of the society and human behavior whereas, the word perspective can be defines as a view of things in their true connection or importance. Hence, the social perspectives provide standpoints used to look at human behavior and interaction as they relate to individuals and groups within society. The social perspective emphasizes that to understand humans for not what is inside of them, but what’s influencing them that should be observed. There are four theoretical perspectives used to understand society and human behavior. The four discussed here are structure functional, consensus and conflict, the gender problem and symbolic interaction.

I analysis my company adopt the?functionalism Paradigm, which is one of the major theoretical perspectives in sociology. See below is sociological paradigm. This paradigm developed by Burrell and Morgan classifies sociological theories along the two orthogonal dimensions of regulation vs. change and subjectivity vs. objectivity (Burrell & Morgan, 1979).
The singular use refers to the theoretical approach used for research while the plural use refers to the object of study. Culture is used in contrast to other academic disciplines or analytical tools (e.g. politics, economics) whereas cultures is used when examining different forms of culture and is therefore more concrete (e.g. regional culture, hipster culture). Another distinction which has had a strong impact on the study of culture is the understanding of culture as practice or culture as a system of symbols and meanings. As Hall stresses, culture is about meaning and as such “permeates all of society.” Representations, practices, values and identities have cultural meanings that are discursively constructed and tap into previous cultural discourses to be meaningful.

According to the Dictionary, Sociology is defined as the study of the development, structure, and functioning of human society. This means that people are willing to study social problems throughout the world and the society that they live in. In my life, I deal with my social class, Gender, Race, Religion, and the time I was born. Because of who I am, I definitely have been a part of a different upbringing and lifestyle that many sociologist may find interesting.
