Hello Class, Unfortunately, we don’t live in ideal world where employment doesn’t exist, because there are others factors of employment that effects unemployment on a daily basis. There will never be a form of unemployment that is seen as desirable, because unemployment can affect so many people and their families at any time. The three types of unemployment are structural, cyclical, and frictional. Structural unemployment can be viewed as a discrepancy between jobs that are often accessible and the qualifications of the individuals that are unemployed. It often occurs when the economy takes a turn in a different direction in the job force, in order to save money by causing higher rate of unemployed individuals. Many companies are replacing robots to do the jobs of unskilled and unmotivated workers due to it costs less, and in these companies probably have the mindset that individuals come a dime a dozen. Another cause of Structural unemployment is NAFTA, this cause many factories to move to Mexico. Due to NAFTA many jobs in the United States were lost, since labor is costs less in Mexico versus the United States. Cyclical unemployment is when individuals lose their job due to a dramatic crisis within the economy. Cyclical unemployment can begin when individuals changes their habits when it deals with their finances. When consumers buy less and less of products that companies often produce, this can cause a dramatic decrease in business revenue sales. The dramatic decrease in business revenue sales can cause companies to lay off or fire their workers, in order to maintain their company and save on profit. The market crash of 1929, tech crash of 2000, and the financial crash of 2008 are some of the examples of cyclical unemployment, and it can be responsible for many resorting to taking their lives in order to save their families and omit from being a failure in the stock market
