There are ethical proofs that include Invented and Situated. When we think about speech, we think about the speaker, the subject matter and the audience. We also think about what characteristics the speaker has. We think about physical appearance and manner as well as their background. Invented proof is where a speaker is created that would best suit to the subject matter. In this scenario, a some what perfect figure can be formed to relate to a given topic. Situated proof is when a character who might not appeal to a subject matter, but does a speech on it. I would like to concentrate on Situated ethos.
