Finally the Marine Corps also had a tropical, utility, and para-marine combat uniforms. Generally speaking tropical uniforms like all the other tropical uniforms were worn in tropical weather. The Marine Corps tropical combat uniform was made up of herringbone twill material to protect soldiers form elements. A tropical fiber helmet was worn for sun protection. Also its camouflage color would make soldiers invisible to allied personnel. Para- marine uniforms were worn by combat jumpers. Smocks were worn with thick elbow padding as a protective layer for the jumpers. Tall lace tight boots protected the jumper’s ankle’s form injury when landing.
