A Utopia, a perfect society is something everybody dreams about but it is not easy to achieve. There have been many groups that have tried to achieve it. Many of these groups put in everything they can to try and create a utopia for their people and it still doesn’t work out. Trying to create a utopia would be extremely difficult for even the smartest people.
By getting rid of everything that makes us human, there is no prejudice, differences and discrimination. Everyone has equal food, housing, opportunities, and hair color. The Giver is a perfect society. Another utopia that actually exists is the American prison system. Every aspect of their lives is regulated.
Whereas in our world, us humans have to stop taking everything for granted and start looking beyond this bubble that surrounds our “perfect lives” and realize one day our world will no longer look like this. Our society needs to put down these gimmicks that have taken over our lives; and slow down the over consumption before it is too late. Before me destruct this world, before we need to
Utopias are Dystopias To what lengths will people go to create the “perfect” society? In the novel Anthem Equality 7-2521 (main character) lives in a society where the government controls everything from school to technology. Speaking of technology, the latest technological achievement is the candle. While the rest of the world outside of the society is way past the candle. Another weird thing about Anthem’s society is that it is totally equal…But how?
Each individual has a different perspective of what a perfect society is. Throughout the course of history there have been instances where an individual takes on the task of creating a perfect society to suite their opinions and perspectives. The attempt to create perfect societies are known as utopian experiments. The goal of a utopia is to employ peace and perfection through dominance, restriction, and loss of freedoms of a community. A strong disciplined leader is needed to maintain their ideas of a perfect society, to instill a sense of fear, restrict information, and violate freedoms which forms a controlling authority over the community.
A utopia is described in the dictionary as, “an imagined place or state in which everything is perfect”. To anyone living in the modern day world succeeding in creating a utopia would be like finding Willy Wonka’s golden ticket, if not better. In many books a utopia is created but soon crumbles to become a dystopia. A utopia is an individual’s perfect society, but a society is a group of people. Therefore, I disagree with the fact of a Utopia forming.
My utopia would be the fairest place on earth. Every person would be treated fairly. The government and the people would be treated fairly and everyone would enjoy it. I’m not saying that everything would be perfect because everything has flaws. All I’m saying is that it would be an ideal place to live.
A utopian world is only a dream. All government, laws, and people would be equal in such a place. When a utopian world is trying to be achieved, it is often turned into a dystopian one. The ultimate push for perfection, with the help of science, is doomed to failure for the exactly the same reason.
A perfect or dystopian society would have everything we wish. We could live without racism and have a nation where everyone is equally treated no matter what their racial orientation is. Since some problems we encounter today are caused by the government. Most sepcifically our president. Some people agree with him and others do not which causes a stir-up between citizens.
Imagine a world where everyone is equal, and has equal opportunity. A world in which there is no land separation, allowing for easy travel, and all of the nations work together to help each other. A place where it's always warm outside, but you can see the beauty of the different seasons; this is my utopia. Everyone would be equal, there would be no racism, classism, or sexism. Individualism would still be prominent, people would be equal in the way that they would have an equal opportunity to fulfull their purpose.
Utopia is characterized as an immaculate or perfect society; that laws and social conditions are made for everybody that there is no segregation between the general population and government, is just a perfect spot that individuals could live cheerful for the rest of their lives. However, an approach as society has never existed or can exist since individuals are altogether different, and as an aftereffect of those distinctions is hard to make a perfect world in a general public. For example, Adolf Hilter attend to utopia in Germany by "the control of basic industry was the key to the control of man, and controlling man was the key to creating utopia"(A.E. Samaan 120) Although Hilter was able to get control in Germany, he was not creating
Since its beginning, ancient Italian art has been some of the most captivating and important art in history. It has provided historians with many different architectural and artistic styles to examine, and traces of these styles can still be found in modern artwork today. Some of the most important information that has been discovered about the early Italians can be attributed to artwork from the time. A vast amount of this information surrounds the religious beliefs of the Italian people.
Throughout Utopia, Thomas More’s opinion regarding the relationship between humankind and animals was prevalent through Hythloday’s perspective. Particularly, this correlation was seen in instances surrounding war, and crimes. Although humans were seen as the superior, more intelligent animal, More believed that humans often reverted back to and were considered animals when they gave into their vices (More). For example, in Utopia, Hythloday brought up his view in regards to punishment for crimes.
Who has never dreamt about a society where everything would be perfect? A place where everyone would have what they want. While for some it would be about being rich, having a mutant society like X-men, others would ask for justice, freedom and equality. All of them are acceptable; it is your point of view of a perfect society. This type of society is known as Utopia (which, according to Merrian-Webster is “an imaginary place in which the government, laws, and social conditions are perfect”).
