Vegan Butcher Shop? Crazy, Right?

The idea of a vegan butcher shop might sound pretty crazy, but that’s exactly what has just opened up in the town of Minneapolis in Minnesota. The Herbivorous Butcher is the name of the shop and the idea itself was first thought of by a brother and sister partnership. Veganism is on the rise all around the world. In many different countries, for many different reasons, people are changing their lifestyles and deciding to opt for meat-free foods which help them stay healthy and minimize their impact on the environment. This vegan butcher shop just goes to show how far veganism has come in the last couple of decades.

Eventually, they decided to turn to the popular crowdfunding platform Kickstarter to help them realize their dream of owning a proper shop. Aubry and Kale were amazed at the support they received. Thanks to the generosity of strangers and friends alike, the venture was able to raise over $60,000. Support for the shop came not just from US citizens, but from people all around the world.
Now, The Herbivorous Butcher is open to all and the shop is already receiving plenty of attention. Aubry and Kale work with local providers to find fresh and eco-friendly ingredients for their recipes. They have managed to compile a very impressive menu, with dozens of meat-free options for people to choose from. This shop can appeal to everyone, not just vegans, with lots of animal-free meats and cheeses on offer.
