Memorial Day is a special day to Americans. It is a day where we come together to pay respect to those who fought so diligently to defend our freedom and allow us to go about our lives as we know them. Memorial Day is often times confused with Veteran’s Day and, while they are both related, Veteran’s Day is a day to acknowledge service men and women still alive today. Memorial Day is a day that many observed back in their day but are no longer able to do so themselves but instead are the ones being honored by the living.
