Bullying is not a new topic that is being argued but still it is a famous topic to be examined in studies and research. This issue is well known globally especially among adolescents in school. We can see many videos being spread nowadays through mass media, either from social media or news. Those who involved in bully are not only male but also female students, either being the bully or the victims of bully. As mentioned by Thornberg and Knutsen (2011) about this issue, there is a difference of power where the victims, either he or she cannot defend themselves, and repeatedly exposed to aggressive or negative action by one or more students (p. 177). Bullying involves all types of negative behaviours which are repeatedly done by a student or a group of students without any proper intention or reason (Silva et al., 2012, p. 20). Bullying can be in many types of negative actions such as verbal, physical, isolation, and other behaviors (Yen et al., 2014, p. 405). As mentioned by Yen et al. ‘Victimization of bullying is one of the most traumatic experiences for youths’ (Yen, et. al., 2014, p. 1415). This is because those who were being bullied tend to have high level of stress compared to those who are not being bullied which will cause them to experienced higher level of depression that may lead to other risk. According to Yen et al. (2014), the victims as well as those who bully may have higher risk of depression, anxiety, attempt to suicide, substance abused and behaviour problem, such as having attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) (p. 405). They also mentioned that the victims of bully will be poor physically and affect psychologically which includes depression.
