Media play crucial roles towards influencing what are facts and attract audience’s attention to favor a single opinion at omnipresence. Often tries to position how individual should view the issue presented in the media in the forms of preconception. Referencing to the film, the media persuaded the citizens of United States to have negative representation to the current president towards winning the election and gaining more followers. To protect the president popularity, the Hollywood producer came with the brilliant idea that, the war was over but there is a brave American soldier named, Old Shoe, being left behind in Albania, to make the appearance of “president becoming the hero” where “he brought peace”, due to the voter are susceptible to believing that they are in safe network of people. This is shown in the article ‘Lieutenant Hroo Onoda’ about a Japanese officer who refused to believe that World War Two had ended. This was due to being isolated from the rest of the world and lack of perspective. He was a loyalty man and committed to his commander orders towards leading the troops. Even though the war was over, he refused to surrender himself where he ends up hiding in the Philippine Island for 27 years surviving on stolen food and natural resources rather than facing the reality of a Japanese defeat. Many leaflets were left in the jungle stating that “the war ended on August 15. Come down from the mountains!” but for Onoda and other three men it just doesn’t make sense. Until Norio Suzuki decided to search for Onoda where he tried to convince him that the world was over, Onoda explained that “he would only surrender if his commander ordered him so”.
