In the novel Lord of the Flies, there are various types of leaderships evident. Ralph and Jack are two of the main characters in the book, who both show a great sense of leadership on the island and towards the boys. Ralph being a democratic leadership, and Jack being a dictatorial leadership. First the fact that Ralph was a democratic leader will be discussed and proven with evidence.
Also, they are going to run into having a water shortage which is going to sicken and even kill many people. Once the hurricane has turned east the people of new orleans are faced with another big problem one or more of the levees have been breached and are starting to flood the city. Also, people are starting to loot stores. As the flood water rise with all the dead bodies and other dead things all water in the city is un usable. this cause a complete evacuation of the city, and could be 3 to 4 months before restaurants and other business are up and running.

Some reasons include, Ralph having an clear vision, having communication skills, and him being confident and dedicated to being an leader. However being a better leader is not about having the most power.
I believe that I am capable of both types of leadership. Most of my experience being a leader comes from sports. I currently play football and basketball. In football, I have always been a quarterback, which means I have always been the vocal leader of my team.
