Poetry, a form of art, is written to convey the ideas or feelings of one. Throughout history, people have become famous by expressing themselves through poetry. Two of these many historical poets are Emily Dickinson and Walt Whitman. Each Individual lived their life with a passion for this literary writing. Although they shared the same pastime, does this really mean they were entirely equal?
A huge difference between the two poets was that they lived different lives. Emily Dickinson was a shy, antisocial, and happy person that spent her time privately.
