INTRODUCTION
Was the USA, USSR or Cuba more to blame for the Cuban missile crisis?

AIMS
The aims of this research proposal are to determine who is to blame for the Cuban Missile crisis.
By looking at the Prelog and build up to the revolution such as how Fulgencio Batista was overthrown in a coup lead by Fidel Castro and why. As well as the Cuban revolution and the July 26 movement which led up to the missile crisis. The proposal will also examine the Missile crisis and thereafter conclude as to how responsible the Soviet Union, Cuba and the USA were in the matter.

SUMMARY
Fidel Castro came to power in Cuba in 1959 after leading a coup against a militant dictator; Fulgencio Batista. And established the first ever communist Government in Cuba. Before Castro came to power, Cuba was a close ally of the USA. The USA supported Batista even though he was a corrupt dictator.
For precisely 13 days In October 1962, the Soviet Union and the USA teetered on the threshold of nuclear war. Resulting in Kennedy’s discovery of existing nuclear weapons in Cuba in October 1962

The power grab made Batista very unpopular amongst the people in Cuba, and Castro immediately started plotting his collapse.
