One of the most quintessential points to the plot of Macbeth is the murder of Duncan. Prior to this murder of the king, Macbeth had many forces attempting to influence his decision on killing Duncan. Overall, the forces convinced him to kill Duncan in Act 1. Throughout act 1 of Macbeth, despite some of his attempts to withstand, he succumbs to many forces, both internal and external, that lead him to his decision to kill Duncan.
Authorities are still trying to find more witnesses and evidence of whom the murderer may be and ongoing investigations will still occur. Searches for the King’s sons are still taking place and Duncan’s body is now being taken for further examinations. Macbeth will shortly take the title of King of Scotland while Duncan’s body

Lady Macbeth is more responsible for the murder of King Duncan than her husband, Macbeth. Lady Macbeth is also an eviller more cunning character than Macbeth. She was the one who thought to murder the King, and even convinced Macbeth to do it for her. She was also unphased immediately after the murder, going as far as to attempt to calm Macbeth down. At first mention of the witches’ prophecy, Lady Macbeth immediately assumed that they must murder Duncan, whereas Macbeth was simply confused on how it could be possible for him to be King.
Well what I had chose was that in act 2 there had been a scene where Macbeth had just killed King Duncan and he was heading back to lady Macbeth covered in blood. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth had a conversation about the event that just took place and had suggested that the fact was that he couldn't return the weapon it was covered in blood and he was feeling guilty about killing King Duncan. Macbeth had started imagining of hearing noises but when he had first came in he was imagining people in the castle that could be witnesses to killing King Duncan. And he had sworn that when he was killing King Duncan he had thought that someone had said “Sleep no more... Macbeth has murdered sleep”.
King Duncan entered Macbeth’s home with no clue that this would be the place of his death. Macbeth committed this crime with a conscious mind. It is necessary to point out that he did not kill just anyone, but he killed the king. Macbeth should suffer the greater consequences for murdering such a significant
Loyal subjects of King Duncan, last night on the 15th of August in the year 1040, our great King was murdered in his sleep in the very castle where we are now, Macbeth’s castle Inverness. The weather was foggy and rainy, and something felt off, but no one could put their finger on it. Little did we know, someone terrible was about to happen. Duncan was stabbed multiple times with kitchen knives that the servants use, but you can tell by the stab wounds that it was by someone who did not know how to hold a knife, therefore we can rule out the kitchen staff and servants. It was made to look like someone from the staff, which means that whoever did it was smart.
They finally come to a conclusion that they should and they form a plan to kill him. After the king is killed by Macbeth he feels regret, but the person most responsible for king Duncan’s death is Macbeth.
Macbeth is More Responsible In Shakespeare’s play “Macbeth” Macbeth is seen to be as the one responsible for King Duncan’s murder, as Macbeth’s hands were the ones that actually killed King Duncan. However, while Macbeth may be thought of as ultimately responsible for his actions, but there are other influences that actually show on a closer inspection of the text, the three main influences to his decision are Lady Macbeth, himself, and the witches. This is (in my opinion) convincing evidence that Macbeth is completely responsible for the murder of King Duncan.

Although in the play Macbeth many people think that Macbeth is the one who is responsible for all the murders it is truly Lady Macbeth because of the influence that she puts on Macbeth and the verbal torment she gave him before murdering King Duncan.
