She makes a plan for the murder to happen when Duncan is sleeping, and she will accuse the guards of the crime. First, she must get the guards drunk, and she will then kill him, putting the blood on the guards to make it look like they did it. She manipulates her husband into thinking that the plan will work. He is convinced and says that he will “dare do all that may become a man.” However, when Lady Macbeth goes to kill Duncan, she cannot because he resembles her father sleeping.
Well what I had chose was that in act 2 there had been a scene where Macbeth had just killed King Duncan and he was heading back to lady Macbeth covered in blood. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth had a conversation about the event that just took place and had suggested that the fact was that he couldn't return the weapon it was covered in blood and he was feeling guilty about killing King Duncan. Macbeth had started imagining of hearing noises but when he had first came in he was imagining people in the castle that could be witnesses to killing King Duncan. And he had sworn that when he was killing King Duncan he had thought that someone had said “Sleep no more... Macbeth has murdered sleep”.

Although she didn't really murder the king, she was still the cause of it.

Once Macbeth gained knowledge of the prophecy about being thane of Cawdor he wrote Lady Macbeth and told her all about it. Macbeth made a big mistake by doing that. Since Macbeth told Lady Macbeth about the prophecy, Lady Macbeth became ambitious and wanted Macbeth to fulfill the prophecy. By both Macbeth’s and Lady Macbeth’s ambition they generated a plan to accelerate the process for Macbeth to become king of Scotland.
There are two people that are at fault for the killing of King Duncan. Macbeth or Lady Macbeth I personally think that the fault is definitely on lady Macbeth because all the stuff she did plays a bigger role than what Macbeth did. Like completely plan planning his murder, and convincing Macbeth to kill Duncan even when he didn't want to do it. As soon as lady Macbeth heard that the 3 witches told Macbeth that he was going to be king she wanted it. She wanted that power more than anything, even more than Macbeth.
Around Act 1 Scene 7, Macbeth argues with himself on whether he should murder King Duncan, “If it were done when ’tis done, then ’twere well It were done quickly” where he means that if it the assassination of the king could be done without it returning “...To plague th' inventor” as this “even-handed justice commends the ingredients of our poisoned chalice to our own lips” then it should be done quickly if his murder would have no negative consequences and be successfully completed with his death (surcease), then Macbeth would risk eternal damnation however, he would gladly risk it. So eerie the name Macbeth alone is supposed to be haunted and cursed people for saying it. Macbeth is a play all about how one man named Macbeth is pressured into killing a king.
In Act 2 there is a scene where Macbeth just killed Duncan and is heading back to lady Macbeth covered in blood. He also kept muttering about all the blood on his hands, coming from the king, on the daggers. She struggles with the notion that she had a hand in King Duncan's murder. She did not want to murder King Duncan herself because she saw her father in him. This caused her to force Macbeth to do the deed himself. When he failed to plant the weapons on the guards, Lady Macbeth had no other option but to go and do it herself. This caused her to see King Duncan dead in his bed and get her hands dirty with his blood.

She is very manipulative and she is scared that Macbeth is too soft and calm to attempt a murderer. She wants Macbeth to feel less like a normal human so he attempts to kill Duncan as a cruel person.
In addition, she comes up with the plot to kill king Duncan. (Act 1: Scene 7 : Lines 75-77). Lady Macbeth will get the two guards drunk and drugging their drinks so the guards will be unconscious while Duncan is sleeping which will lead King Duncan to be endangered. She will blame the guards for the murder so no one will suspect it 's them
She pushed Macbeth into killing Duncan. Lady Macbeth had an opportunity to kill Duncan herself, but Duncan reminded her too much of her father “Had he not resembled my father as he slept, I had done’t ”( act 2 sc 2 lines 16-17) “Glamis thou art, and Cawdor, and shalt be what thou art promised. Yet do I fear thy nature; It is too full o' th' milk of human kindness to catch the nearest way. Thou wouldst be great, Art not without ambition, but without the illness should attend it,” Lady Macbeth (act1 sc5 lines 15-20). After hearing this, Macbeth decided to murder Duncan.
Macbeth, by William Shakespeare, is a dark play full of witchcraft and foreshadowing. Lady Macbeth showed scheming qualities throughout the play which had a lot of influence on her husband, Macbeth. Because of her controlling personality, Macbeth was scared to disappoint her. She was the one who positioned the idea of Duncan’s murder into her husband’s mind where he was succumbed by her supremacies and made the ultimate mistake. It was also her idea to place the blame of Duncan’s death on the soldiers.
