Was Queen Elizabeth an evil queen who didn’t justify Catholics? No, Queen Elizabeth wasn’t an evil queen because she was kind to all of her subjects, as most Catholics say. Ever since Queen Elizabeth was young, she always strived to do her best since her father didn’t pay much attention to her and her mother was executed for not giving a male successor. With that small trait, she lead England for quite a long while. In 1586, Mary, Queen of Scotland was currently in house arrest. However, while Elizabeth was ruling England, many Catholics thought that Mary, Queen of Scotland was a better Queen that Elizabeth and kept saying that Mary should overthrow Elizabeth one day. They saw Elizabeth as a weak person while Mary was kind and strong, seeing how Mary tried her best with Scotland.
