For me, equality is worth fighting for by any means necessary. To me this is worth fighting for because everyday we go through the struggle of discrimination, judgment and negativity against others who are different. Equality is also very important for society, we as people or human beings need to have a open mind going into this very challenging and diverse society that we live in today. Today in society many people are still fighting for equality against those who oppose or can’t accept different skin color and just like those big leaders and voices Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr had for this country along with many others. Not even just racial discrimination, but also sexual preference, disability and religious discrimination. For some it seems that it bothers our comfort zone, but for others it is very necessary to accept everybody in society. The world population is constantly and rapidly growing, therefore with all the problems we have with equality have to stop before the world becomes a place we don’t want or may not even be able to imagine for this day and age. If everybody in society wants to support and accept equality then the world would be a better place. We need to treat everybody with respect and treat others how we expected to be treated. By any means necessary nobody should have the mindset that they are better than anybody else and that they can just treat somebody who looks different or have different preferences than him/her different.
