The weakness in the SWOT analysis looks at the internal factors that can lead to competitive disadvantages to the organization and gives the organization areas were they could improve those areas. When looking at the San Diego Chargers, they have weaknesses in both the organizational and team department. Their team weakness are they haven’t been good on the field over the past six years by only making the playoffs only once in those six years which is hard for the fans to cheer for a team that hasn’t been good recently (“San Diego…”). The core players of the Chargers are getting towards the end of their careers and will need to rebuild the team in order to get competitive again and will be hard to get fans to keep coming to the games with a stadium that isn’t up to par of NFL stadiums. The San Diego Chargers organization has weaknesses with their stadium with it being one of the worst stadiums in the NFL. Qualcomm Stadium JumboTron is so old that replacement parts can only be found on eBay while having no capacity for a hi-definition video board or for new electronic signage. The stadium infrastructure is also one of the worst in the NFL with having white trash bags covering large electrical connectors that hang from the lower wall, cracks visible in concrete in various places, heavy rains causing drainage systems to back up that lead the team to have rubber boots on the hand for fans whose seats are flooded and is not common for sewage to leak onto the field and into the visiting locker room (Gennaro). This has led to fans not wanting to go to the games because of all the bad infrastructure and poor fan experience
