Bees:

Bees are found in most country’s in the northern hemisphere, South America and New Zealand. Bees are social animals meaning they live in colonies. A bee’s nest contains between 50-500 bees. Bees feed on the nectar and pollen from flowers as a source of energy as it is very high in sugar. The pollen has nutrients and protein that help with development. Therefore, areas with lots of flowers are best for bees to live in. Bees are very important for plants as they spread pollen around allowing plants to reproduce. Bees also supply humans with bees wax and honey.

Bees have an open circulatory system. Blood does not flow through veins it fills the whole body. Insects blood is called hemolymh. Hemolymh bathes the organs allowing diffusion
