In Macbeth, Shakespeare is exploring the boundaries of good and evil in a man’s heart with Macbeth. Macbeth uses three main things that go to the boundaries of good and evil. First, the killing of a loyal king, second killing his beloved friend and his son, and third killing MacDuff’s family. These three things push the limits of a man’s heart. First, Macbeth receives a prophecy that he will become the king of Scotland. He then decides to talk to his wife. His wife urges him to kill his beloved king to steal the crown and become king. Macbeth says how he feels wrong about doing this deed and his wife calls him out on that. She says that he is a wimp she could do it but Duncan reminds her of her beloved father.
