Sinuhe hardships as an immigrant started when he left Egypt for the safety of his life after hearing the news on the death of King Amenemhat I. He assumed that his life would be in danger so he left Egypt to protect himself from danger. One of the few hardships that Sinuhe faced as an immigrant was fleeing to another country that he was unfamiliar with. During his journey to look for a safety place, Sinuhe have travel places to places due to the fear of people that he’s unfamiliar with and other people’s fear of him because he’s a complete stranger to them. During the travel Sinuhe was homeless and experienced hunger and thirst to the point that Sinuhe thought that he would die until he met someone named Amunenshi who provided him food and water. …show more content…

Another hardship Sinuhe had to face was cultural shock. During Sinuhe’s time in Egypt, he was well respected and everything he has comes naturally and he didn’t have to face any hardships. He was also cleaned and educated to the point that he has no worries during his time in Egypt. During the travel to places, although Sinuhe was a successful person, he was dirty and he had to protect everything he have achieved because people didn’t like him and missions
